IA Palavras Cruzadas does not collect any personal data and makes no network connections. All information stays exclusively on your device.

Data stored locally

Only via iOS UserDefaults:

• Selected language (pt-BR or en-US)
• Selected difficulty
• Current theme
• Per-theme progress (completed or not)
• Best mistake-free streak

This data never leaves your iPhone or iPad and disappears if you uninstall the app.

On-device AI (optional)

On iPhones compatible with Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 or later) you can enable “On-device AI hints” in Settings. When enabled and when you tap “Generate hint”:

• The app sends to the local Foundation Models only: puzzle theme, original clue, a curated supplemental hint, and word length.
• The correct answer is never sent to the model.
• Processing is 100% on-device. Nothing is sent to Apple, the developer, or any server.
• If AI is unavailable, the app uses a curated supplemental hint authored by the developer.

Privacy Manifest

The app declares PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy with:

• NSPrivacyTracking: false
• NSPrivacyCollectedDataTypes: [] (no data types collected)
• UserDefaults declared with required reason CA92.1 (user preferences).

Children

The app is rated 4+ and does not target minors beyond traditional crossword play. Because no data is collected, no special processing applies under COPPA or LGPD article 14.

LGPD (Brazilian Law 13.709/2018)

Because the app does not collect or store personal data outside your device, it does not perform “processing of personal data” under Brazilian LGPD. The data subject rights in LGPD article 18 (access, correction, deletion, portability) are satisfied by the absence of collection: you always retain full local control.
